KEY BENEFITS
Carboplex™ is a balanced formulation providing and promoting the absorption of carbohydrates for stressed or shaded turf grasses. Residual carbohydrates are available for utilization by beneficial microorganisms as a food source. • Contains 35% simple carbohydrates plus nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, micronutrients and other ingredients for improved plant health, soil structure, microbial enrichment, nutrient uptake, growth-stimulating and elicitor properties.
• Contains non-fertilizer properties including: fulvic acid, glucoheptonates, sea plants, sea p lant extracts, plant sugars, amino acids, and organic acids.
• Contains a beneficial, balanced micronutrient package.
• The soluble carbohydrates in Carboplex™ are readily translocated to metabolic sites in the plant and utilized in the growth process of the plant.
• Under many stress conditions where carbohydrate supplies are limited to the plant, a foliar application of the soluble carbohydrates in Carboplex may be beneficial in helping to supply the plant with needed carbohydrates for continued growth.
• Carboplex™ watered into turf can be utilized by microorganisms
• Can be applied with Grigg Brothers® soil stimulator, Bio Blend™, for optimum soil and microbial stimulation at a rate of 1 gallon Bio Blend™ to 4 gallons of Carboplex™ per acre every 30 days.
APPLICATION GUIDE
In addition to the General Application Guidelines, use the following specific guidelines for this product:
• All Carboplex™ applications should be watered in lightly.
• TEES & GREENS:
Apply rate 12 fl.oz. per 1000 ft² or 4 gallons per acre per month through the growing season.
• FAIRWAYS:
Apply 7.5 fl.oz. per 1000 ft² or 2.5 gallons per acre per month through the growing season.
• SPORTS FIELDS:
Apply 7.5-12 fl.oz. per 1000 Fft² or 2.5-4 gallons per acre.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Carboplex is a 6-4-4 fertilizer fortified with 35% simple carbohydrates, fulvic and humic acid, sea plant extract and micronutrients. This product can be used as a soil conditioner designed to stimulate microbial activity in the soil, maximize soil nutrient solubility, and increase rooting. Turf managers across the country have found Carboplex to be an excellent component of their summer stress program by helping maintain strong and vigorous root systems. Carboplex also can be used as a foliar product to increase carbohydrate content of the tissue, which may be especially useful prior to winter. Research has shown that winter hardiness is largely a function of carbohydrate storage in the plant.
